About Us - Who are we?
Put simply - we are people helping people!
We are NOT a charity or registered body, we do not receive or accept money from any source. The organisers and committee members are giving their time on a voluntary basis. Our only gain from this project is the satisfaction that life is made easier for a homeless person in our community as a result of receiving one of your gift-boxes. With your help Galway can show our most vulnerable that we do care about them and we are trying our best to help them. None of this would be possible without your help. Thank you.
Last year was our first experience running a campaign like this, but we saw a need in our community which we desperately, with your help, tried to address. The results were so heart-warming and inspiring that we decided to go forward again this year.
Committee members:
Geraldine & John Monaghan, Caherlistrane, Sandra Fitzgerald, Shrule, Madeline Steede, Belclare, Finola Lawless, Athenry, Maureen Crowe, Knocknacarra, Martina Fahy, Corrandulla, Carmel Barrett, Athenry & Mary Brett Feeney, Athenry.
WHO WE ARE NOT
We are in no way affiliated and should not be confused with any charity who do wonderful work sending gifts to children in Africa and Eastern Europe. We encourage you to check out their excellent work to see how you can help Their cause.
